Onscreen Control For Mac
To view the Screenshot toolbar, press these three keys together: Shift, Command, and 5. You will see onscreen controls for recording the entire screen, recording a selected portion of the screen, or capturing a still image of your screen:
If you want to administer a computer without observing what the current user is doing, you can view the desktop of the user account used to authenticate with Remote Desktop. If another user is logged in when you control or observe the computer, you see the desktop of the authenticated user, and the other user can continue using the computer uninterrupted. If no one is logged in or the authenticated user is logged in, you see the same screen as the person at the computer.
Another option is to use screen sharing. This way you can control another Mac remotely. Opening files and folders, closing files and windows, you can even use apps that are only installed on the remote Mac.
If you need to remotely access your Mac from only a very short distance away (say less than 10 feet) then the new Sidecar feature in macOS Catalina will allow your iPad to become an extra display or control surface.
Screens 4 is a virtual network computing (VNC) solution available for macOS and iOS developed by Edovia. If you set the option to automatically show the controller, it appears onscreen when your Mac starts speaking. Use the controller to change the speaking rate, move forward or backward one sentence in the text, pause and resume speaking, or stop speaking.

1. You need to share your screen in order for someone to interact with it. Select the Share Content button in meeting controls. You will be prompted to select from a variety of windows, or share your entire desktop. Microsoft Teams also has the option to select a whiteboard, or connect with powerpoint to share documents.
Congrats! Now any participant can share one or multiple windows and anyone can interact with them using mouse and keyboard without having to request control. In parallel, you can still communicate using Microsoft Teams and use its features as you know it.
With the release of macOS 10.14 (Mojave), Apple introduced new security requirements for all remote support solutions, including Take Control. When the new Accessibility and Full Disk Access security requirements are enabled you can take control of the remote device and interact with its files, otherwise you can only observe when connected. macOS 10.15 (Catalina) expanded these security settings by introducing a Screen Recording permission. After configuring the Privacy settings, the computer then becomes controllable and accessible using the selected remote control solutions.
After applying these settings, Take Control will be able to control the computer remotely. Where these settings were applied during an active session and you experience control problems, close the Take Control session and then reconnect to the Mac.
To share your screen on a Mac remotely, use Spotlight to open the Screen Sharing app on your computer. Then type in the Apple ID of the Mac you want to control remotely. The other computer will have to allow access.
In order to use Screen Time to monitor and control a child's device use, you'll first need to set up Apple's Family Sharing service.
